As Janet and I look at the challenge of raising over $300,000us in just 5 months time, our knees grow weak. As we go to our knees in prayer, we hear the Lord say " Those who look to me will never be ashamed". Good to know.
My natural tendency is to begin to plan for failure. Or better said, begin to form a "Plan B"....what we will do IF God doesn't come through for us. I mean, who are we kidding? This is a lot of money to find in economically trying times.
But God's economy is NEVER in crisis. And he just LOVES to show how amazing He is and how much he loves His children.
The other day Janet pulled me aside and said.."Honey, let's not form a plan B. Let's not try and protect our names or reputations. Let's just Go for it! And if we are to be fools, then let's be BIG fools for Jesus." I sure love that girl. Glad I married her! Glad I have someone in my corner as we press on in this crazy walk of faith.
So we will not be ashamed! We will press into the Lord.
